The "Corvette Servo" that OPT sells that I am reviewing here is NOT the "Superior 2nd Gear Super Servo" so I DID use "spring A". If you get the whole package like I did, the "SUPER SERVO" "4th Apply Piston & Cover" comes with it's own instructions that say to leave out "spring A" if "this servo is being used along with the "Superior 2nd Gear Super Servo". Here was my Q and the A for someone else's benefit. Sent the question in via the web, and didn't get an answer until the Tuesday after I installed the parts on Saturday. The long servo pin option on this item can help to get this travel within the correct range. Getting your servo within this travel range can make the shifts even quicker and add more miles and years to your transmission’s life. The recommended servo travel is 1/16”-1/8”.
